The High Score have successfully incorporated some of the best elements of alternative music into their debut disc.  This does not meant that the group's material lacks originality - it simply means that the band owes much of its sound to its members keen ear for tunes that are currently getting airplay.  Although the High Score exhibit the ability to slow it down, as on the ballad "I Feel Bad for You", the remainder of the 11 tracks are all about cranking up the amps and displaying a passion for rock.
