I guess my main take was being grateful that Scott asked me to join the band since I really wanted to play onstage but was too reluctant to do take the plunge on my own.  It was also important as my first real band experience and a wake-up call for me since I had to control my undisciplined playing and channel it into the structure of the song ideas.  In the few years that I'd played, I rarely played with other musicians and you guys seemed very patient with me during my period of adjustment.  I also enjoyed the fact that Scott had a vision for the band and was willing to lead things.  It was always a welcome challenge to figure out how to contribute guitar parts to the songs that made them stronger and that were fun to play.  I also recall catching some friendly flak for running the reverb so high on my amp, especially from Kevin.  It took a lot to get me to turn it down for our recording session.  Although I don't have any particular performance memory that stands out, I remember the great feeling I got when I was driving on Cumberland and heard Happy Dancing on the WUTK radio. - Stephen Wicks.
