"All Things Small Produce a Spark," The Westside Daredevils (Lynn Point)

Some of the best bands rely on a chemistry between songwriters. That's the best reason to keep an eye on Knoxville's Westside Daredevils. Featuring lead songwriters Brett Cassidy and Jeff Caudill, the Westside Daredevils have produced a fine debut with "All Small Things Produce a Spark."

Cassidy's British Invasion-ish "London Forces" sides up against Caudill's "Miner's Shortwave," a moody number that could've been created for Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot." Elsewhere the band churns out some lovable rock and pop that leaves you hoping that the Daredevils continue the artistic collaboration and create even better work.

Keep an ear out. Grade: B
